It has been an absolute joy working with Jeff over the past 5 years. He has taken such good care of my good old 1925 Boston Chickering, making it sound as good as new. Not only is Jeff a master and a top expert in his field, but he is also a wonderful human being with a heart of gold.

Jeff is an A-level tuner-technician, and great in a crisis, even a covid-crisis. Early during the outbreak, Jeff came in armed with disinfectant, a mask and good humor, then tuned and de-squeaked my Yamaha C5 to perfection! Piano tuners abound, but I'd highly recommend Jeff to anyone who wants the best and most conscientious!

Jeffrey Baker is an expert technician whose virtuosic ability is matched equally with kindliness and good nature, a rarity in our field and region! By choosing him for several restoration, renovation, & repair projects, and for regular tuning and maintenance, we are assured that our six pianos at Park Ave. Synagogue, from a pre-war Steinway to a brand-new Yamaha are in ideal shape, ready for all musical challenges from Bach to Pop. An accomplished composer himself, Jeff knows why it matters that he works above and beyond the call.

It is not hyperbole to say that Jeff Baker is one of the best in the business. He's tuned in recording studios for some of the greats of the popular and jazz worlds (Billy Joel, Chick Corea) and for most every major classical pianist of our time, both in their homes and on the major concert stages of the US (including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center). He's not simply a "tuner", he is a true technician: his infallible ear combines with his ability to quickly resolve most any mechanical problem to ensure that your piano will receive the absolute best care.
